I LOVE motherhood sessions. Nothing makes my heart sing more than capturing beautiful images that celebrate the special bond between a mother and her child. There is an intimacy to these sessions that leaves space for the most raw and deep moments of connection. Just the two of you, playing together, loving on each other. It's a pleasure and honour to capture.
This session was the most incredible afternoon. We started with a simple and elegant set-up where we captured some gorgeous portraits and detail shots, before moving into the field where we captured authentically playful moments in the golden grass. As the sun started to go down there was a quick outfit change, a dance in the last light and we embraced the magic of blue hour with some final scenes under the moon.
My sessions are gentle and slow. There is no expectations on your little one to be anything but themselves. I don't place you in awkward poses, but offer prompts that lead to real, authentically fun and playful moments between you and your little one.
